Scania Luxury Bus Food and Heritage Tour

2 years ago Scania introduced its Marco Polo Luxury Bus model in the country. That highlights the complete operational package as it monitors its drivers and fleet. So after bus fashion show and thorough system evaluation, we actually need to try and experienced the actual bus our-self.

During our last travel when they said before that this was cool as this, fast as this and smooth was that. So its time to stressed him out via road test. With our food, heritage and church travel tour to Pampanga. Which they considered as the Culinary Capital of the country.
Ready for our Pampanga food trip tour with a full functioning Marco Polo Bus model. Equipped with 6cctv, gps and driver monitoring system. Parang airlines lang ang peg pero nakamonitor kami sa Sweden kung ok ba yng takbo at behavior ng driver namin.

Kaya safe na safe ang travel escapades. Imagine nasa NBA, Champions League or PBA sports team tour ako with Chef Sau, Tayag, Bourdain or Ramsay fusion twist enjoy lang ang byahe.

From Edsa Balintawak out 1st stop is Breakfast at Alviz Farms. To taste the savor of Duman with they consider as Pampanga's most valuable treasure. Travel to Guagua Pampanga, One of the Vacation house converted into a restaurant.

Marami daw ang ng pepre nup dito. Breakfast farm type, where you can view the rice fields with ducks and flying birds. Ang sarap ng longanisa and black rice. We did a group photo at its blooming bougainvillea in front of swimming pool with the house background at the back.
Our next stop was lunch at Everybody’s Café, the home of authentic Capampangan cuisine. Sisig at Karekare daw ang specialty ng Kapampangan. Which I agreed, upon finishing my plate with halo-halo dessert from Kabigting's.

What something special about the lunch venue is the painting of the wall. Which is the Philippine history which our tour guide discussed during our day tour. From war to culinary. One of my blogger friend Gab told me during our travel in Davao. Who lived here that 1 year is not enough finish the rich food story of Pampanga.
Then we visited the Ocampo-Lansang house for Turrones de Casuy and Sansrival tasting. The almost 100 year old family business were passed to generations since 1920's. A simple religious house turned out to be one of the most visited and popular home factory in Sta Rita, Pampanga.

This is also my 1st time to try this delicacies. And I like it, I couldn't imagine that they sliced the Cashew nuts manually. As I saw how they bake and packed the turrones and sansrival. It taste really really good, that even Kris Aquino goes here over and over again. According to the owner which is the nephew of the founder.
We visited the St.James Parish called as Betis in Guagua. The church was established in the 16th century dedicated to St James. I was impressed of the great interior and optical illusion architecture inside the church. Also it was declared as the National Culture Treasure by the National Museum and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts.

Next visit was the San Guillermo Parish Church in Bacolor, Pampanga. It was built by the Augustinian friars in 1576. After Mt Pinatubo eruption, it was half buried by the lahar and became as the most visit tourist spot in the country. During the church construction they used egg white mix with sand to hold the bricks.

Our last stop is the old train station at San Fernando, Pampanga. Mang Jose, Mang Jose ang superhero na nakaupo sa estasyon ng Pampanga Tren. San Fernando train station is one of the most historical location in the Philippine revolution.

It highlights the memory of War, including the Bataan Death March. And the controversial La liga Filipina recruitment, also the love life of our National hero Dr Jose Rizal during our Scania Marco Polo luxury bus tour.

I cant wait to see the Marco Polo luxury bus bring comfort to the Philippine public. And penetrate the 81 provinces across the country as a future classy mode of transportation convenience.
