This 2023 NBA season I think were dominated by Foreign Players. Gone were the years that it was all American black or white season like Bird, Jordan, Kobe, Iverson, Barkley, Stockton, Kerr and Lebron's Championship era.
But now it was Murray who is a Canadian and Jokic who is a Serbian tandem dominated the sport. With lots of triple double together the entire season.
NBA through the years and decades evolve from Lebron flopping meme to Morant gun sensitive issue to Black Lives Matter. And NBA soft foul issue to a non stop catch and shot beyond the arc trick which I think destroy the beauty of the game.
I hope that everybody stick with the pure basketball sport intentions of the game with no racial, political, money or color discrimination involve. But it is really like the superteams, trade ins and max contract deal are happening now.
You can't even predict player loyalty to teams and country anymore. Like what Rodman, Howard and Jeremy Lin did. Coz more and more players are switching teams even league. Even creating some unwanted issues just to be traded.
This Tuesday if Denver win the game 5, they will be the 2023 NBA Champion. And it will be a foreign dominated dou for the 1st time that we are not usually seeing. But whoever wins, if Miami make it to the Game 7. Good Luck and let us just enjoy the game.
