After 2007 Red Racing my appetite for adventure and motorsport racing didn't stop. I was thinking of motorsport joining several competition races in the country. Like the Philippines Endurance and Ironman challenge so I was thinking of Subaru as one of the best machine option. Because Im a fan of Brian O'Conner, Ken Block and Russ Swift.
This year marks my 9th year joining straight the palm challenge. Today, after last month challenge my skin begins to heal again from Sunburn. For the past 9 years it replenished like snakes skin. Who knows I might join again next year. Thinking of quitting as my batch-mates come as years goes by, but Alex was still there we fight till the end. Hope you could bring home the beacon this year we've been eyeing for the past decade.
My brother did made it 6 times for more than 2 days in SG, but hallucination, fatigue and heat is for real. Rain or shine - It was tough, Damn it was so hard! I remember hanging out with the national team last 2009 and 2012 in Singapore. It was a good travel and ironman hand experience. As we know who we really.. are under the skin.
Looking up at pro athletes, It was a good feeling as well to receive your pro athlete salary. As well having a chance to be part of the hall of fame. Party in Zoukout like hollywood stars and Relaxing at fiber glass rooftop pool after heavy challenge. Party like a champion was remarkable. It was rough and tough as rules changes every year. When you invested dozens of hours, I couldn't argue with the Manila and Singaporean Marshall anymore.
Subaru yearly pound 4 pound Palm Challenge is not for everybody. As one of the best Rally and Sports car ever built. Good-luck to Team Philippines! I really like to join you guys but I was retired out! Anyways lets win again the Team, Last Asian Standing and of course the Subaru Car!
