The name of the event is “Pinoy Job Fair!”. A series of Jobfair in Metro Manila Key Cities (Mall/Gymnasium/School/Hotel) and Philippine Provinces. Our intention of
this Job Fair is to bring awareness and opportunity to the community
while helping the Philippine economy. By having this event, we will be
able to attract many interested job seekers within your district and
help many people find jobs.
As projected Call Center BPO Industry
are the main result of dollar fluctuation. Aside from our
OFW remittance abroad. A Trillion dollar industry that we would like to
share to our fellow Filipino countryman.
The intent or objective
is to provide an alternative job application experience for the BPO
industry. The alternative is a change in user experience, both by the
applicant and the BPO-Non BPO companies involved. Here’s Raffy Pekson's User Experience Flowchart of how the Pinoy Job Fair flow be executed.
This is what we called “Lights! Camera! Action!” type of event. The user experience is key! Think Ikea Store. It’s like going through a Disneyland tour
– we want the result to be all smiles, happy, contentment, etc. Like,
the entrance can have an arc with strobe lights gleaming like when you
enter a carnival.
Or, it can be an airport
to take off to airplane to landing to airport experience, complete with
ground crew, FAs, packed meal, application form ala immigration card,
orientation and 5-minute spiel ala FA’s onboard safety orientation to
passengers, etc.
So, each Gold Sponsor BPO/Non BPO Company
has their own room or booth that can accommodate around 20 or so
applicants. They are given 5 minutes to say their piece. After that, the
applicant decides if he or she wants to apply. Then, they go to the
next room or booth and the same thing happens over and over again. Or,
worst case scenario, one bigger room and each Gold Sponsor takes turn
orienting the applicants.
In a bigger room, both
Gold and Silver Sponsors have one-table booths. The applicants can go to
them but hardly any focused, 5-minute spiel happens. It’s your ordinary
passerby booth.
The end is a larger hall where all the non-BPO sponsors congregate. Food can be served here. Extra meeting rooms for “executive search and staffing” or other topics is exclusive for Gold Sponsors’ use.
The venue has to have multiple rooms or the ability to create it for the Gold Sponsors, a smaller hall for the Silver. As per Raffy's idea.
