Ice Cube X Fat Joe Performance at the World Series

It's been several days since the Dodgers won the World Series. The Ice Cube and Fat Joe performances are buzzing on my social media feed, although from a foreign perspective it is quite different the vibe from east to west local fan as a main-event sports bandwagoner. 

I can say that I like Fat Joe in the 2000s better than Ice Cube in the 90s. Fat Joe's songs were typically designed to relax in a club, party place, or house. Ice Cube was like a story of a typical day-to-day bravado and hood life. But the World Series is not all about entertainment. 

It's a severe high pressured ball game championship. Like the wakawaka for world cup, eye of the tiger is for boxing and sail by awolnation for MMA extreme combat fighting. So the game face must be serious and not relax.

So Ice Cube's songs were ideal, plus his voice doesn't change over the last 3 decades. At the same time, Fat Joe was catching his breath like a retired, incredible, fast rapper like Emenem's performance lately. It's not fresh like they did it 2-3 decades ago.

I also like Jay Z's previous performance of Empire State Of Mind ft. Alicia Keys. Maybe they should do this every World Series as they did in halftime in the Superbowl and NBA finals.  As they include the Yankee, Lebron, Wade in the lyrics. 

I'm looking forward for these songwriters, RnB singers and Rappers to include several team and names in the F1, Golf and Tennis so that they can sing it in the main event.

The eleven-bout card featured four bouts for the newly minted Super Belt, with additional action from the biggest names in combat sports taking place inside the PFL SmartCage.  In the highly anticipated main event, 2023 PFL Heavyweight Renan Ferreira seized the throne, scoring a TKO of Bellator Heavyweight Champion Ryan Bader 21 seconds into round one. Nemkov caught Cappelozza in an arm-triangle submission, putting Cappelozza to sleep in the second round claiming the first Super Belt in the process. The main card continued with Thiago Santos and Yoel Romero facing off in a Light Heavyweight matchup. Over the course of three rounds, Romero used leg kicks to nullify the reach of Santos, and earned the nod on all three of the judges’ scorecards for a unanimous decision victory.  The main PFL Champions vs. Bellator Champions action began with a Lightweight affair featuring PFL Lightweight Runner-Up, Clay Collard, and former Bellator Featherweight Champion, AJ McKee. McKee, who owns the longest winning streak in Bellator history, used his skill to force the always tough Collard to tap out after one minute of action. Henry Corrales and Aaron Pico went toe-to-toe in a Lightweight rematch which closed out the early card. Pico won his third consecutive bout with an opening round TKO.  In Lightweight action, Biaggio Ali Walsh, the grandson of boxing legend Muhammad Ali, stepped into the PFL SmartCage for the first time as a professional against Argentina’s Emmanuel Palacio. Ali Walsh dominated with his grappling and walked away with a unanimous decision win. Further action on the early card featured the return of two-time Olympic gold medalist, Claressa Shields, who weathered the early submission attempts from the powerful Kelsey De Santis. Shields regrouped to win a closely contested split decision. Abdullah Al-Qahtani, the first fighter to represent Saudi Arabia in the PFL, stepped back into the PFL SmartCage to face Edukondal Rao in a Featherweight contest. I said this because they want something big that will happen in fight history. That will beat any pay-per-view, NBA Finals, Super Bowl, or World Cup attendance. Why did I say this? It clearly indicates that it is a numbers game, doesn't it?

Even if people with no access to pay-per-view or the internet can see the match via social media sharing. Those Ali, Conor, Floyd, and Manny record-breaking match is about now be broken. Even their highest-grossing Hollywood movies or tv series.

My Favorite Female Athletes

Before I don't really like watching women playing sports. Coz it's really pretty boring and quite really slow. Not until I saw Serena Williams, Annika Sorenstam, Danika Patrick, Ronda Rousey, Leila Burrows, Christy Martin, and Maria Sharapova performance beyond beauty.

The way they smash the ball, play the sport and drive through the podium made me think that these girls can really compete with men easily and really nicely. I can see that these women can be as entertaining and amazing as our men's world-champion icons. You may take a look at GIST most essential headlines in sports.

If men can do it they can as well. But the reality is that most of boxing matches, and basketball stadiums are not filled with women only 90% of men. Some of the women would invest a lot in clothes, makeup, or bags than buying a ticket and then going to these basketball or football games.

Ryan Garcia lost to Gervonta Tank Davis because of the wrong strategy. The dude was muscular and fast, also an undefeated Champ. Kings of Destiny One Championship Fight Night

Last Friday night I witnessed again another big MMA event in the country. The Kings of Destiny One Championship Fight Night was one of the best in the country. If your taking about MMA and boxing fighting sport in general for past decades you will recognize the superiority of Blacks, Mexicans and Brazilians. 

But last Friday night it was different, 5 Filipinos from Team Lakay Baguio City not from Kings MMA, Cesar Gracie Fight Team or Wild Card Gym secured the winnings. Meaning to say Filipinos now are dominating the fighting games over foreign foes. Some of the wins were really brutal and dangerous like the bloody TKO of Belingon and Banario. Real enough to see how Pinoy's performed in the octagon cage.
